Our Story

We started peter andrews in 1981. Our first store, in Williston Park, New York, had been an old supermarket — wood floors, brick walls, steel beams, completely authentic. In those early days we sold mostly European crystal and ceramics: interesting, different, and beautifully designed, bought directly from factories in Finland, Sweden, Italy, and Portugal.

Quality, design, fashion, and value have driven us from the start. Over the years we grew into furniture and accents for the home — still buying directly from makers in the U.S. and overseas, always hunting for unusual, eye-catching, quality pieces.

Today peter andrews is three unique showrooms across Long Island — Farmingdale, East Northport, and Williston Park — offering both indoor and outdoor furniture along with gifts and home accents. Each store is a bit of a treasure hunt: outdoor teak for your deck, a comfortable well-designed sofa for the living room, a carved mirror to open up the den, the perfect gift you didn't expect to find.

Our in-house designers make it easy and affordable to customize fabrics and finishes — to find the colors and textures that express your taste. We deliver throughout Long Island, New York City, and the surrounding tri-state area.
